Paige Spiranac accuses Brandel Chamblee of HATING Bryson DeChambeau after US Open – and golf fans agree

Paige Spiranac has accused NBC analyst Brandel Chamblee of having ‘hatred’ for Bryson DeChambeau in the aftermath of his US Open victory.

On Sunday, DeChambeau secured his second Major victory in North Carolina, capitalizing on a devastating collapse by Rory McIlroy to claim the top spot on the leaderboard at Pinehurst.

Spiranac, a prominent figure in the golf community, expressed her disagreement with Chamblee’s characterization of DeChambeau as ‘fortunate’ following his triumph on Sunday.

Spiranac wrote on X on Sunday night that Brandel’s claim about Bryson winning the US Open due to ‘good fortune’ is outrageous. It’s clear he doesn’t even attempt to conceal his dislike for him. SMH (Shakes my head).

DeChambeau relied on McIlroy to give him a break, but he seized the opportunity in a dazzling manner, especially with a superb shot from the bunker on the 18th hole to secure the tournament victory.

Following his major win, DeChambeau participated in a conversation with Chamblee and NBC, where the golfer playfully teased Chamblee about his irons. Despite the light-hearted banter, the interview appeared to be conducted in a positive atmosphere.

Many other supporters also supported Spiranac’s opinion. Another fan expressed their agreement on X by stating, ‘Brandel Chamblee despises Bryson DeChambeau. It’s completely unprofessional.

I hope an NBC producer whispers in his ear and reminds him, ‘you’re not being subtle, you know?”

One individual expressed: ‘Remove Brandel Chamblee from the broadcast as he constantly tears Bryson apart whenever he can.’

However, there is a background between the two. Chamblee strongly opposes the Saudi-backed LIV tour that DeChambeau participates in and has previously targeted him for criticism.

In 2022, when discussing the rumored $100 million deal DeChambeau signed with LIV, Chamblee made a statement about DeChambeau’s newfound faith and his acceptance of money from a regime that opposes Christianity. Chamblee expressed his curiosity, saying, “Recently, DeChambeau has been vocal about his discovery of God and his conversion to Christianity. It makes me wonder how he reconciles accepting funds from a regime that holds anti-Christian beliefs.”

He further highlighted the restrictions in Riyadh, stating, “In Riyadh, you can’t even open a Bible without risking imprisonment. The regime’s views are misogynistic, anti-Semitic, and they suppress freedom of speech.”

He discusses his charitable endeavors and returning home to attend to matters, all the while accepting funds from individuals who go against the very causes he claims to support, namely philanthropic initiatives. This is the source of his financial backing.

He claims he will establish a fresh legacy. Undoubtedly, he will create a new legacy, one that will be marred like a century-old silver trophy left untouched in a closet.
