Tiger Woods took to his social media platforms on 22 April to confirm his teammates for the tech-fused golf league, TGL, he founded with Rory McIlroy.
Tiger Woods has confirmed his side for TGL.
Woods, aged 48, utilized his social media accounts on April 22nd to announce his fellow team members for the technology-integrated golf league.
The 15-time major winner disclosed that Max Homa, Tom Kim, and Kevin Kisner will be part of Jupiter Links GC.
The first events of the league will be broadcasted on ESPN and ESPN+ during primetime in January.
In the TGL, there will be six teams consisting of four players each, who will compete against one another in a league format.
Players will begin each hole on a golf simulator, where they will hit into a screen measuring 64ft x 46ft.
After hitting shots of 50 yards or less, players will transition to a flexible putting green.
Woods and his co-founder, Rory McIlroy, had to postpone the project for over a year due to a power outage that resulted in a section of the dome roof collapsing at the Sofi Center in Palm Beach Gardens.
No injuries were reported at the venue, which can accommodate up to 1,600 spectators.
TGL, backed by the PGA Tour, was established to provide players with ownership opportunities.
TGL was established in direct response to the emergence of LIV Golf, a rival organization that enticed players with guaranteed financial incentives.
Jon Rahm, a previous Masters champion, had initially joined TGL before switching over to LIV in December.
