Tiger Woods’ mistress will take scandal to grave

Rachel Uchitel, the former mistress of Tiger Woods, said her infamous affair with the star golfer 16 years ago will haunt her for life.

Uchitel crossed paths with Woods, a legendary golfer, in Las Vegas in 2008, following an introduction by mutual acquaintance, baseball star Derek Jeter.

At that time, Woods, who was 48 years old, was married to the Swedish model Elin Nordegren. However, everything changed when he met Uchitel and started an affair with her.

This secret relationship was brought to light in 2009. It was during the Australian Masters that year when Nordegren discovered the affair after Uchitel was caught on camera entering Woods’ hotel room.

Subsequently, the media uncovered that Woods had a sex addiction and engaged in infidelity with over 120 women, leading to one of the most significant sex scandals in history.

Uchitel continues to feel haunted by the scandal, despite it being just one of many affairs Woods had.

Uchitel shared with Daily Mail that having such a big conversation piece can follow you to the grave. It has impacted her relationships, as she prefers to keep her world small.

Woods and Uchitel crossed paths after Uchitel had faced significant hardships. When she was just 15, she tragically lost her father Bob to a drug overdose. Later, at the age of 26, she experienced another devastating loss when her fiancé James O’Grady was killed in the 9/11 tragedy.

Uchitel expressed to The Sun that she is far from ordinary, which is why she seeks out extraordinary men to date. However, she admits that she has yet to find someone who truly fits that description. Consequently, she remains open to the idea of finding a partner who can bear witness to her life. Uchitel longs to experience the commitment of marriage and desires to be in a fulfilling relationship. Each morning, she wakes up with hope, believing that she might meet her ideal match that day.

Rachel started her podcast “Miss Understood” last year to provide a platform for individuals who feel misunderstood to share their perspectives.

Following the scandal, Woods and Nordegren ended their marriage with a $100 million divorce settlement. They have a daughter and a son together.

Woods subsequently had relationships with skier Lindsey Vonn from 2013 to 2015, stylist Kristin Smith from 2016 to 2017, and restauranteur Erica Herman until 2022.

Currently, Woods is participating in the 2024 Masters in Georgia, USA, where he recently recorded the lowest score of his professional career at 82.
