Paige Spiranac And Bryson DeChambeau Attempt To Break 50 From The Red Tees

Bryson DeChambeau brought out Paige Spiranac for a ‘Break 50 Challenge’ as the two have filmed a handful of videos together in recent months that have put up big numbers on YouTube, so it only made sense to keep that partnership going. He also made mention of Paige’s top notch short game as an asset in the ‘Break 50′ challenge.

They take on the challenge in Albany, The Bahamas, where the Hero World Challenge (Tiger Woods’ tournament) is held. It’s also the place where Sam Bankman Fried operated FTX before the company faced a downfall, and it’s where Bryson resides when he’s not in Texas or traveling with the LIV Golf Tour.

They do not reach 50 from the red tees. However, they do come very close and manage to achieve an impressive score between the two of them. The video has a duration of over 51 minutes, so I recommend skipping to the end or checking out the ‘most watched’ moments on YouTube to see Paige Spiranac and Bryson DeChambeau’s top shots.

Bryson DeChambeau has been pursuing the ‘Break 50 Challenge’, which is meant to be played from the red tees. However, the Albany scorecard reveals that this course does not feature red tees. Instead, the equivalent of ‘red tees’ at Albany in The Bahamas are labeled as the ‘Pink Tees’ on the club’s scorecard. This minor detail may seem insignificant, but it’s worth noting since Bryson mentioned ‘red tees’ in the description of his video.

The score of -19 from any tees is truly impressive. They should be commended for achieving such a remarkable score. With that being said, I saw a comment suggesting that Bryson DeChambeau should team up with Brooks Koepka for the next ‘Break 50 Challenge’ video, and I wholeheartedly support that idea. If there are any two LIV golfers who can break 50 together from the red tees, it’s definitely those two former rivals.

In a somewhat related update, Paige Spiranac recently shared a video on X (formerly Twitter) where she discusses ‘things in golf that just don’t add up’ according to her:

I have not encountered a single individual who neglects to rake their bunker on the golf course. Personally, I maintain a relaxed attitude while playing and I would promptly address such behavior if I witnessed it. Regarding rounds that exceed 5 hours, occasionally it is simply beyond our control and left to the whims of the golf gods. In the case of a crowded course on a weekend, there are instances where nothing can be done to expedite the pace of play.
