Rickie Fowler lost his temper with one fan while teeing off at The Players Championship on Saturday.
Right after hitting his tee shot on the 16th hole, Fowler approached a person in the crowd. It seems that the person forgot to turn off their phone before Fowler’s shot, despite Ricky Romano, Fowler’s caddie, reminding them multiple times.
Here’s video of incident at the 16th tee box. Romano told the same guy moments before to put his phone on silent multiple times.. he didn’t. Rickie was not a fan of him. pic.twitter.com/Vovx1RlM3X

Fowler was clearly pointing at the person and asking, “Hey, what are you up to?”
Fowler’s calm demeanor is well-known among us. We’ve witnessed him casually brushing off hecklers before. It’s evident that the fan must have truly pushed his buttons for him to respond in such a manner.
Fowler’s disappointment could be attributed to his performance on the course. He ended the round with a score of +4 and is currently three strokes over par for the tournament, which puts him far from being a contender going into Sunday.
