No John Cena, The Rock or Randy Orton, but Royal Rumble 2024 will have a HUGE moment.
CM Punk and Cody Rhodes are currently the only two wrestlers who have declared for the 2024 men’s Royal Rumble. However, that is bound to change soon. Over the next few weeks, WWE will be announcing several other names for the 30-strong match on TV, and they will also leave some spots open for exciting surprises.
If you were hoping to see Dwayne Johnson, also known as The Rock, make an appearance after his recent Raw showing, you might be disappointed. The Rock is not included in this list. Surprising, right? But don’t worry, it’s for a good reason. Having The Rock join in would take away from the important stories involving Punk and Cody. Plus, it’s not really necessary because if Triple H ever arranges a match between The Rock and Roman Reigns, he won’t need the Royal Rumble for it.
But fear not! There will still be plenty of star power in the Rumble, even without big names like The Rock, John Cena, or Randy Orton. Speaking of Orton, he will most likely be challenging Roman at the Rumble, so he won’t be participating in the match. Regardless, the 2024 Rumble promises to be a lot of fun with one of the strongest full-time lineups in years.

The forecast suggests that Paul’s involvement in the Rumble will be limited to just a few minutes. Afterwards, the competition will narrow down to a final four consisting of Punk, Cody, LA, and either Jey Uso or Damian Priest. Logan will then assist in eliminating Knight, while either Priest or Uso eliminates Cody. Finally, Punk will emerge victorious, preparing himself for a showdown with Seth Rollins.
